Yes, you have discovered an extra-special post here tonight. I decided to go ahead and write up for you my ever-changing Top 11 Transcendent Films of All Time. This list changes constantly, due to the shifting winds of mood and memory, but its likely that a few of them remain consistent over time.
When I say transcendent, I mean films that inspire and enthuse their watchers with the spirit of transcendence. I use this word in the sense of going beyond perceived limitations and expectations. I mean it also in the spirit of seeing and experiencing more deeply into one of any kind of experience, including that of simply being alive.
