Hey folks. How has your day gone for you thus far?
A blanket of snow descends upon both of my old hometowns of Eugene, OR, and Minneapolis, MN.
Here in Southern California, the rains and winds have pounded the windows and thrashed the palm fronds for most of the day thus far.
In tribute to the beautiful and rare rains, check out this song:
Today also delivered some heavy news to me. Not as heavy as someone’s death, or anything sudden and shocking like that, thankfully. No, instead, my location will be shifting again soon, and I can feel this current situation begin to dissolve. I have a lot of books to sell or store somewhere, and a bunch of gear to organize, box up, and ship to my next location.
I had a trip planned for the beginning of January, and the obstacles to achieving the goals behind the trip have mounted a campaign against it. I made some moves to preserve the journey, and time will tell if these plans will materialize.
Here’s to the light that always lurks behind the clouds.
Here’s to the sun that always shines behind the earth.
Here’s to the eternal awareness that lurks behind the human drama.
Here’s the everpresent perpetual eternal adventurer in each of us.
Here’s to you, and the actualization and enjoyment of every one of your wildest dreams.
More rain-walking revelations after I get home.
Love, Wildness, Chaos….
