Lines of Time and Text: The Art of Escape

These times are what make us us. Perhaps it was the food and cosmetics all along. The stuff you brush your teeth with gets in your thinking process somewhere along the lines, so choose wisely. A dilletante enters stage right, to write all night, abandon fright, succumb to delight. Greatness emerges urged on and on, to and fro, bounces and drops. Building blocks of what I require to ascend in “the world” fill my space, clutter, less of a concern by the second. Each passing moment raw and gourmet, fashioned of clay, acted out as a play every day but today. Enough of rhyme. Enough with time already! Let it drop. Back to the bare facts of existence again, falling drifting passing fading dissolving fluid flowing into each new scenario, run through it like water, courseless and profound, tumbling effortlessly, gravity its servant, moving into plotlines with prowess, power and potential aflow, on the go, letting nothing slide by unnoticed, enjoying every bit of the drifter who lives inside mine brain, the clear observer-the garbage man-Michael Clayton-the Gambler who plays all sides, who knows the hand dealt, who keeps the exits open memorized. Joyous, cheer and sorrows congregate together. Lines, lines, and more lines–spacious patience, filler, spilling thoughts–a trace of the past.

On the front of card in drawing:

“NO WAY AS WAY”

“Travel, stumble, mumble, scramble eat devour inhale breathe suck drink taste slurp sleep skip swim dance preach…”

“Do you know the times when things slide over to the left, slide to the right spin round in circles all night, eat of trash and handout sleep of wreck and abandon, drink of tab and river.”

“Embrace the art of escape.”

“Tunneling through minds full to overflow Rambling through oases of ease Easing down roads, obscure, relief.”

“Release
Relive
Revive
Revolve.”

“Dissipate
Dissolve
Disrupt
Discipline.”

“Telephone to nowhere from nothing regarding endings fallen leaves, dropped rain, swept up in a tempest.”
